Specifications
- Style PASGT (Personal Armor System for Ground Troops) designed in accordance with MIL-H-44099A standard.
- Material Should be made of multiple layers of Twaron / Kevlar fabrics pre-impregnated with resin for a strong bond that can survive multiple hits.

- Suspension System
- Cradle type suspension system should keep the helmet offset from head for better ventilation in hot and humid climate.
- The webbing on the harness system should be non-irritating to skin.
- Foam cushioned leather pads for energy absorption in case of blunt impact.

- Sand Beige Color / Mil Olive Green
- Paint should be non-fading, easy to clean and decontaminate.

- Circumference of headband
(1) Small: 54.7 cm and below
(2) Medium: 54.8 to 57.5 cm
(3) Large: 57.7 and above
- General
- Excellent performance, lightweight, multi-hit protection.
- Front lower end of helmet should be tapered to protect against entry of rainwater into uniform.
- Should allow free use of communication equipment.
- Should not interfere with weapon sight, gas mask, hearing protect and free movement of neck and head. Ease of wearing goggles and use of binoculars.
- Should not affect the working of magnetic compass.
- Should be rugged and strong enough to withstand rough field handling.
- Should be compatible with NVD, communication equipment and add on.
- Outer Cover
- It should be removable / replaceable / washable.
- Should be made from 1000 Denier Nylon fabric, FC Bln Camouflage print, PU Coated, water repellent treated on printed side acc. To IAS&C Khi Specs vide letter no. 17712/R&D dated 11 Jul 2009. A test report to this effect from ASID or SGS to be provided.
